Early Years Toolkit SUMMA

SUMMA provides the region with a platform of effective educational practices for early years. The platform translates the Early Years Toolkit developed by the Education Endowment Foundation, synthesising robust evidence from the Global North on the effectiveness of 10 strategies to improve learning outcomes in early years education. This evidence offers a starting point, and readers are invited to consider the particularities of each context in the region.

For each strategy, an estimate of the expected impact and the cost associated with its implementation is provided. This tool aims to support pedagogical decision-making at the level of public policy and within educational communities, helping to focus efforts and resources on the practices with the strongest evidence.
